Do I need to know how to code?
No. Most workshops assume nothing beyond curiosity, and the ones that build on an earlier session say so. Bring a laptop and a Google account.
Is it only for computing students?
No. The chapter is open to every program at Sheridan. Designers, business students and anyone else who wants to build something are part of it.
Does it cost anything?
Joining the chapter is free. Larger events ask you to register ahead of time so we know how many people to expect.
Where and when do things happen?
Most sessions run at the Trafalgar campus in Oakville, with some online. Dates go out on Discord and Instagram first, then the events page.
How do I join the team?
Apply through the team form. When applications are closed, the Discord is the place to be until they open again.
